Replaced Fuel Tube
I found that the motorcycle fuel tube is leaking, so I bought new tubes in addition to a motorcycle cover at Road Rider Motorcycle Accessories. I also bought an oil pan for when I replace the oil filter later.
Went to Target to get a toolbox and WD-40 for hard to remove screws, but to my dismay the tools did not fit the motorcycle. Instead, I went to Kragen Auto Parts near my work. Instead of buying a toolbox, I bought individual tools: two screwdrivers (a Philips and a flat head), a ratchet wrench with 5 sockets, and a needle nose pliers.
The fuel tank still had plenty of fuel so I drained the fuel into oil pan temporarily. I replaced the fuel tubes.
I found that a plastic tube that goes from the air filter to the carburetor was disconnected. I don’t know why this was disconnected. This may have played a role in the problem that I experienced this week.
